Glass and wirework hurricane lanterns look very effective with a chunky pillar candle. Deep enough to prevent a light breeze from blowing out the candle.

WORM TOP TIPS: pop some sand in the base to stop the candle wobbling. Add some sea shells too if appropriate.

This candle arrives in a cello wrap and pretty bow.

The candle is made from fully refined paraffin wax with a pure cotton wick, which means the candle burns cleanly.

It is wrapped with a foil-lined silver birch wrapper which does not burn when the candle is lit.

The burning time is 40 hours, after the candle has burnt for 40 hours you will still have the silver birch “tube”.

The candle is not fragranced.

Helpful Tip: When you light the candle, make sure it is allowed to burn out to the edge of the candle before extinguishing it for the first time. If it only burns for a short while, it will burn downwards and the burning time time will be reduced.

The gorgeous lantern can be stood or hung. The lid lifts up for candle access and you could also add sand and shells to the base of the lantern. Rust metal finish, comes complete with bracket for hanging. Takes a 7x 10 candle not included.

Please note that this is a hand made item using craft techniques. Therefore each item is different from another and the bangles are applied in a random, irregular fashion. Some gaps appear between the ends of each bangle and this is intended. Some bangles have different thicknesses and thus the finish isn’t smooth. If you are the sort of person that only buys straight carrots and yellow bananas then this product probably isn’t for you. However if, like us, you can appreciate a world that’s a bit crinkly round the edges and items that are clearly hand-made rather than by robots, then please tuck in.

Weight the lantern bags with some gravel or sand and place 1 or 2 tealights inside. Create a sumptuously soft glow that adds an extra dimension to any outdoor entertaining.

Can also be used to mark pathways or areas like ponds for your guests to avoid.

The tea-light holder is a clear holder and the silver foil comes flat so makes it ideal to be posted.

Simply bend the foil into the shape you require.

Almost seems a shame to light these tea-light candles - if you do each tea light will burn for 2.5 hours.
