Use the lowest height (no side layers) to propagate seeds or cuttings. When it comes to hardening off and protecting taller plants the Vitopod propagator can be moved outside and more height added with extra side layers.

The small square Vitapod heated propagator is good for small spaces, whilst the large rectangular Vitopod heated propagator alternative is twice the size for a bigger crop. Each size has two versions; a single side layer or a double side layer (each side layer adds an extra 15cm of height). Further extra layers can then be purchased as required.

These heated versions have a temperature range of 5c to 30c which is enough to get the most timid of seeds going. The heating elements run the length and width of the unit thus preventing hot and cold spots.

Each kit contains 2 waterproof seed trays, 2 bags of compost and 4 packets of chilli seeds plus pencil, markers and full instructions.

Made from metal with delicate iron work in a verdigris finish, this obelisk looks stunning simply as it is, or with a simple clematis scrambling through.

The obelisk comes in 3 sections, with each section clipping together, so it can be easily stored if required.

To secure the obelisk in the ground use metal tent pegs or sturdy wire loops pushed in to the ground - not supplied.

A practical wooden potting table in a rustic grey painted finish with large zinc inner trough.

This gorgeous potting bench is designed so you can fill the inner trough with compost, then pot up your seedlings on the sliding tray on the top of the table. When you have finished potting up, the surplus compost can be easily tipped back into the trough.

The potting table is made from a softwood, so will be need to be kept under cover in your greenhouse / conservatory / outhouse.

If you are short on space or just want to display your plants and pots to best effect then étagères are a great way to do it.

A pot plant stand with 3 levels, an Étagère is a french word derived from étage (shelf/level) and means a piece of furniture with open shelves.

This decorative étagère is made of metal with an aged iron finish. If used outside the metal will age and indeed rust further over time.

Comes flat packed, very easy to assemble.

For late harvesting try sowing the alpine lettuce Meraviglia d’Inverno.

The Bis di Lattughe is a great red and green cutting lettuce.

Lingua di Canarino is a lovely oaked leaf meaty lettuce, really easy to grow.

The Misticanza Mixed salad is our most popular cut and come again.

With all Franchi seeds there are lots of seeds in the packet, so you can have lots of lettuce all summer, just remember to stagger the sowing every 2-3 weeks.

Metal globe shaped topiary frame in a vintage French grey finish adds a little style to your planters.

The frames come with 4 long spikes on the base so it can be secured easily by pushing in to a large planter of border if you prefer.

Team it with the grey vintage style zinc planter and a little ivy for the complete look.

The frame is not galvanised so will gently weather gracefully over time.

The full height of the globe including spikes is 60cm, the globe itself is 46cm. The length of the spikes are 14cm.
