Presented in an easy to use, teacher friendly binder, Glub the Sub - a friendly yellow submarine, previewed the Watery World Project Pack at The Education Show 2000. The product will be available from July 1st.
This new multimedia resource is designed for use in all Early Learning settings and supports Foundation Stage Goals with many imaginative and enjoyable activities. It covers all areas of learning and a wide range of abilities.

The activities and lesson ideas are linked with a common theme; Glub’s Watery World, a world full of friendly sea creatures, divers and other objects found beneath the sea. The pack provides many different types of activities through which children can learn, whether by using the CD-ROM or by more traditional methods, and the common theme helps make the transition seamless.
For example: Adding can be introduced through a worksheet where the children count sea creatures, enhanced by a similar activity on the CD-ROM and reinforced by a lesson idea using shells collected by the class, as counting aids. This makes the pack suitable for many different learning scenarios, providing the opportunity for children to experience a host of exercises that do not distinguish between work and play.
Note for Teachers:
In addition to providing hours of enjoyment the CD-ROM encourages the development of mouse skills and computer confidence and is specifically designed for children in the Foundation Stage although its mouse skills coaching is also sutiable for some Special Needs situations.
