No seriously, we could have opened the doors to our new virtual shop at about 1.30pm but decided that as we had the wine tasting/christmas preview in our real shop in the evening we would wait until today to open the doors to the rest of the world.
Of course there are still a few things we are not quite happy with, but that's the way with retail, one never is. However, we are looking forward to this next stage of 'The Worm' with a mixture of excitement and pride. We are really chuffed with the way everyone has contributed and we know there's a lot more to come. Two new members of staff join this month and whilst the lovely Anna leaves us soon for the lure of the sea-side the team has a great feel about it.
Many of the last minute panics has now been replace by a sea of calm. The oil tank is full again, as is the cat. We will take our daughter to the fair this evening, not least to make up for the neglect of the last few weeks. Everything in the garden is rosy.
