Hillmead Primary School Garden Makeover
26 February 2009

When ITV's This Morning programme contacted The Worm that Turned to help out with their makeover of a school garden, we were only too pleased to help. Hillmead Primary School was devastated by a large fire in December and whilst all the pupils escaped safely, the fire destroyed most of the school.
Pupils are now working from portacabins until the school is rebuilt and This Morning's gardener David Domoney has been engaged to provide a 'makeover' on an adjacent piece of land to provide some much needed outdoor breathing space for the children to enjoy.
The plan is still under wraps with the first programme due to be aired on 13th March, however we can proudly say that we have donated the following items to the project and hope that whatever the result, we've played a part in getting the school back to normality and encouraged a few new junior gardeners too.
