Fermob Furniture Repair

Rust

If rust begins to appear as a result of a scratch or bump, you should not sand it. Instead, repaint the damaged area as quickly as possible, using the appropriate Fermob Touch-Up Pens and Fermob Touch-Up Sprays. If rust develops on stainless steel parts, then a polish (liquid or paste only) should be applied as soon as the first traces appear. The sooner action is taken, the less the rust will spread. Respraying Your Furniture

The video below gives you a rough guide to spraying your furniture. Please follow instructions on the can though, and take appropriate precautions for best results.

If your Fermob furniture is corroded, (which may happen if your furniture gets chipped, or is very old) it is nowhere near the end of its life. You will need to prepare the surface first however, and spray with the anti-corrosion treatment.

This video shows how it can be done:

If using a Touch-Up Pen (best for very small areas or edges), this video shows how it can be used. In our experience the spray achieves a better result.

If you need further advice please call us. We will be more than happy to help you.

Recycling Fermob Furniture

Fermob furniture is designed and manufactured using recycled and recyclable materials. To help us protect the environment, please remember to take your packaging, and any old unwanted furniture, to your local waste disposal centre for recycling. For furniture that includes OTF, remove the canvas from the frame, and return it to us. It will then undergo the exclusive Texyloop® treatment process.

If In Any Doubt

Whilst at this point we do not offer any repair service ourselves, we do understand the process, and can offer guidance and tips as to best practice.
