Preserving jars by Bormioli are amongst the sturdiest jars made and they guarantee a completely modern vacuum seal (when hermetically sealed).
Home grown food was traditionally stored and preserved by this method in Italy.
Fill the jars, put the lids on and then boil to create an airtight vacuum. The filled jars can then be stored for several months.
Passata jar holds 1 litre of liquid.
