The Quattro Stagioni preserving kit contains 8 jars and lids needed to preserve and store food hermetically. Bormioli Jars are amongst the sturdiest jars made and they guarantee a completely modern vacuum seal (when hermetically sealed).

Home grown food was traditionally stored and preserved by this method - where the filled jars are filled, lids put on and then boiled to create an airtight vacuum. The filled jars can then be stored for several months.

The kit contains 4 x 0.25 litre preserving jars and 4 x 0.50 litre preserving jars with sterilised vacuum button lids, a wide-mouth preserving funnel for filling jars, a packet of Franchi basil seeds for Genovese pesto and a Aristo seasoning sachet from Milan.
