Helpful tips: When you light a pillar candle, make sure it is allowed to burn out to the edge of the candle before extinguishing it for the first time. If it only burns for a short while, it will burn downwards and outwards and the burning time time will be reduced. Always remember to remove candles out of the hot sun (in both the garden and in conservatories) to prevent the candles from melting.
