Rustic Wicker Insect Hotel
This Insect Hotel is a lovely way of helping to protect our garden bees and insects as it provides a habitat for them to spend the winter in. Inside this hotel are wooden tubes with drilled holes, bamboo tubes, pines cones which make a great cosy habitat for the insect to safely hibernate in.

Place the hotel in a sheltered spot in the garden. Solitary bees prefer wooden nest sites and importantly solitary bees are gentle and safe around the garden.
These insects such as bees and ladybirds and lace wings are important for the garden as they efficiently pollinate flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs, which increases yields of fruit and vegetables.
