The 'spoon' of the pricker is small and thin so the seedlings can be loosened from the soil with precision and the sharp point makes it extremely easy to create small planting holes which can be enlarged by using the 'spoon' of the pricker.
The seedling pricker is forged out of a rod of stainless steel.
