The Worm Stories Deck the Halls: Create the Magic Deck the Halls: Create the Magic Heather Isbister 22 November 2024 Email Print Comment (0) I love finding ways to bring Christmas sparkle to my home. With the right decorations, you too can transform your home into a cosy Christmas retreat. To help make your home even more warm and Christmassy, I have curated Christmas décor and lighting that can easily and simply transform your hallway, mantlepiece, entrance and even more areas of your home and, of course, your garden. 1. The Path to Christmas Joy Not only does adding Christmas lights to your path look absolutely gorgeous, it creates a real sense of excitement and anticipation as you, or your guests approach your home. A pair of small illuminated trees could be just the statement piece your entrance needs. 2. The right tree to make front garden shine By far some of the most impressive Christmas lighting I have come across are these illuminated LED Christmas tree. They look absolutely gorgeous in your front or back garden as evening descends, especially if we get lucky with a few snowy spells. The best part is it does not matter what sort of front garden you have. For concrete or stony surfaces, then our Hard Surface Floor Standing Christmas Tree is perfect. For softer, grassy lawns, then many of our trees come with all the fixings you need to secure them against winter weather. 3. A proper 'Seasons Greeting' The finishing touch your home might need is a gorgeous wreath to adorn your doorway. These beautiful LED wreaths will be visible even on dark evenings and add a festive magic as guests knock on your door, eager for that figgy pudding! The opulent berry wreath is a wintery style that's absolutely stunning on your door or even on your walls. 4. Bring Gravitas to your Hall Your hall is where you receive guests and is the perfect first impression for your home. I have found that few things make as dramatic an impact as our new cascading LED waterfall, which also looks sublime overhanging your Christmas table. The majestic baroque stag head certainly never fails to impress. He has a timeless elegance that helps him stay in fashion year after year. If you don't have the space in your hall, then he'll happily sit above your fireplace. 5. Make any staircase 'Grand'. One of the best way to give your old decorations, like the garland you have had in the attic for many years, a new lease of life is to enhance them with gorgeous fairy lights. You can see how our horse tail LED lights have add vibrancy to a typical conifer wreath. I recommend battery-operated lights as they are much more versatile and stop the risks wires on stairs could cause! For even more glamour, hang baubles from your garland, they catch the light beautifully and add spots of colour to your staircase. 6. Bring Christmas sparkle to your windowsills The windowsill can be an easy to forget spot in our Christmas home, as we close the curtains to keep in the warmth. But with free-standing Christmas wreaths, this need not be the case. True statements of elegance and sparkle, the wreaths cast a stunning shimmer, creating a dazzling display for your home. that can be enjoyed by passers by and your guests alike. The versatile design, complete with a sturdy stand, also makes them perfect for gracing a console table, or your outdoor spaces. 7. Light up your mantlepiece Add a touch of seasonal magic to your mantlepiece with our enchanting wooden toadstools. This set of three willowy creations is beautifully adorned with glitter and sparkle, bringing charm to your Autumn and Winter decor. Perfect not only for mantelpieces, but also shelves, windowsills and other festive displays, these toadstools capture the whimsy of the season in elegant style. Complement them with our delightful LED wax candles. They work beautifully with the toadstools as their light is be caught by the caps. Vary the height of the pillar candles you choose to create a natural, more authentic appearance. These are just a few of the ways to enhance your Christmas home with stunning lighting and décor.
