William Morris Flowers Seed Bar
It may look like a rather whopping bar of chocolate but this GrowBar is a cleverly curated mix of glorious classic blooms, which are perfect for creating a lovely herbaceous display full of colour, texture and fragrance.
Three varieties included are:
Dianthus - seen in the meandering florals of Morris's 'Pink and Rose' 1890 wallpaper design.
Larkspur - Morris designed his famous Larkspur wallpaper in 1874.
Viola - In A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oberon creates a love potion using Heartsease now known as Viola.
Easy to grow from April to June.
Simply place the William Morris Flowers Bar in the coconut fibre in a container and water.
Place on a sunny window sill to germinate. when the seedings have grown 4 leaves, pot on or plant out.
Plant them in a sunny weed-free spot in the garden. Plants grown in the ground with plenty of space and sunlight will flower most impressively, but it is possible to grow the seedlings in large containers on the balcony or patio.
Suitable for all gardeners and nature lovers alike.
