A peaceful oasis
We believe in the importance of being able to escape to calm space for our own mental health. The mere presence of water has been proven to have a soothing effect on the mind. What better way to introduce a dose of calm to your garden than these gorgeous fountains?
The water pools with fountains we offer do require a little set up and are not 'plug and play'. This is to give you flexibility in the set up of your fountain.
Putting together the water feature is relatively simple, and all the parts are supplied. Find the installation instructions here. Please do get in touch with us if you have any questions.
Cables run from the bottom of the water feature and requires channel to be dug out to conceal wires, and are around 8.5m long from the base of the water feature.
Plugs supplied are EU two-pin plugs, but a UK adaptor is included and will require additional space.
Connecting LED lighting
Wiring from the LED lights run from the light, through the overflow pipe and to the plug which has an integrated transformer. The light can be connected straight to the transformer via a T10 connection if there is only one LED lamp.
A splitter is provided for water features with more than one spout and LED light; this splitter is located near the plug, so please ensure you allow extra room for this.
Connecting the water pump
The water pump is wired separately with its own plug and adaptor so you can control the lights and the pump separately. This wire also runs from the pump, through the overflow pipe to its power source.
As wires for both the lights and the pump exit through the overflow pipe, please ensure that the channel that is dug for the wiring continues under the water fountain to the overflow pipe so that the wiring can be concealed.
Additional space for plugs
The plug for the LED lighting has an integrated transformer and is bigger than a standard UK three pin plug. All in all, the plugs plus the included EU-UK adaptors will require a larger outdoor waterproof electrical box of around 20 x 20 x 30cm to keep the connections dry, as the plugs will not fit into a regular outdoor wall socket with a lid.
Alternatively, these wires can be fed indoors and plugged in at the wall.
Your fountain over Winter
Syphon water to 10cm below edge with a hose. The pump can be left in the tank provided a pond de-icer is also used. If not, remove the pump from the tank to overwinter under water in a frost-free place.
