Stuart's Handy Paella tips:
Get the pan level before cooking. Remember it will be full of liquid in the early stages and a level pan is essential. Thumbscrew adjusters are on the side to assist. Use a spirit level!
Use proper Paella rice, decent saffron and bags of seasoning.
Try getting hold of some rabbit for a more authentic feel to your paella.
Watch the flame on a breezy day, you may need to adjust the flame accordingly.
Don't forget that you can also cook a decent fry-up the next day - see picture!
Leave the pan outside to soak overnight if you can't get the rice off otherwise and use a metallic scourer.
Remember to lightly oil the paella pan after use before storing - prevents rust on the steel pan.
