These broad beans can be sown in the Autumn ready for a Spring harvest. They are easy to grow and are suitable for container growing as well as allotment or vegetable plot gardening.
Try the beans with a short pasta shape to make 'Pasta con le fave' or pasta with broad beans. Or delicious to add raw to salad leaves with a simple oil olive dressing.
This is a productive variety for both spring and autumn sowing, they are a reliable plant.
Remember to pinch out the shoot tips of the the broad bean flowers at the top, it encourages both the pods to form but helps to prevent black fly problems.
