Friendly Bug Barn
With lots of different textures, crevices and hollows this insect home is a multi-species home. Use it to attract ladybirds, solitary bees and and even over-wintering butterflies.
The natural split log design has an opening lid which reveals the inner bug barn.
Add your choice of bug nesting material in here such as bark, straw or dried flower stems if you wish. The log walls are thick and chunky so are well-insulated and give a cosy warm sanctuary for your friendly bugs.
The barn also combines bees tubes and drilled bee tubes which can be used by pollinating bees such as Mason Bees or Leafcutter bees to overwinter in.
Locate your the bug barn next to lawns, sheltered flower beds etc to attract as many bees and insects as possible.
