Designed for Gloster by Povl Eskildsen who began his furniture design and production knowledge over two decades ago whilst working in his father’s furniture factory. Povl has designed a number of collections for Gloster and the Solana range of relaxed teak and sling chairs and loungers is one of these collections.
The Solana lounger has a beautiful buffed teak finish frame made from the highest quality teak, this is the first and only choice of timber for outdoor furniture.
The lounger has 4 reclining back positions.
The all-weather sling seat and back rests are practical and comfortable.

Buffed Teak :
Buffed teak benefits from an enhanced surface preparation procedure, where the natural oils already contained within the teak are brought to the surface and burnished to produce a rich sheen and a consistent colour.
Used indoors, protected from moisture and ultraviolet light, the buffed surface finish and the rich colour will endure.
Used outdoors, buffed teak will weather exactly the same as natural teak when exposed to the elements. Over time, the natural teak colour will also begin to fade away and the furniture will gradually weather to a soft, silver-grey patina.
