Vintage French-Style Metal Garden Caddy
With its ribbed sides and softly weathered, zinc-grey finish, this garden caddy has all the charm of something picked up at a French brocante, the kind you might find tucked under a potting bench in a Provençal garden. Divided into neat compartments, it keeps seed packets, balls of twine, plant labels, secateurs and hand tools sorted and easy to find, with a sturdy handle across the middle to carry it all down the garden.
It's just as lovely indoors. Use it on a kitchen shelf or windowsill to hold pots of herbs, or on the dining table for cutlery, napkins and condiments, for a relaxed, French country look.
It makes a lovely gift for a keen gardener, or a treat for yourself to bring a little order, and a lot of character, to the potting shed.
