The Avril Counter stool is hand crafted in delicate Lloyd Loom weave with a beautifully crafted oak wood base. Each counter stool is hand made in classic Lloyd Loom using techniques dating back to 1917. The chairs are shaped and curved for optimum comfort, with seat pads available to be ordered separately.
The Avril Counter Stool collection is available in a choice of 26 beautiful colours. The difference between the counter stool and its taller cousin the bar stool, is the height of the chair legs.
The Avril collection forms part of the Indoor Vincent Sheppard range of furniture. The seats of the stools are made using Lloyd Loom weave which is made from twisted Kraft paper spun around a steel wire. Highly skilled craftsmen shape the loom to the natural oak frames by hand, thus producing a smooth and attractive finish that will, unlike normal wicker, not snag clothing or skin.
Then each piece of furniture is painted in any of the 26 Vincent Sheppard Loom colours.
