The Melissa indoor dining chair is hand crafted in delicate Lloyd Loom weave with a painted hardwood frame. The frame colour tones with the chosen Lloyd Loom seat colour.
Each chair is hand made using classic Lloyd Loom techniques dating back to 1917. The chairs are shaped and curved for optimum comfort.
Melissa seat pads are available to be ordered separately.
The Melissa chair forms part of the Indoor Vincent Sheppard range of furniture.The seats of the chairs are made using Lloyd Loom weave which is made from twisted Kraft paper spun around a steel wire. Highly skilled craftsmen shape the loom producing a smooth and attractive finish that will, unlike normal wicker, not snag clothing or skin.
Then each piece of furniture is painted in any of the 26 Vincent Sheppard Loom colours.
