The fans are only suitable to be used as an indoor fan and used in areas where they will not come into contact with water for example indoor living spaces and bedrooms.
These fans cannot withstand direct contact with humidity or water, if this is your the location you are looking to fit the fan then you will need to choose a fan with a IP23 or IP44 rating.
