The Icelandic sheep is a robust breed that is born, and lives freely, in the wilderness. The wool’s unusual character is the result of centuries of adaptation to the harsh Icelandic climate. The long hair protects the sheep’s skin from moisture, while the short hair keeps the animal warm. Icelandic sheep are distinguished by two things, unusually long hair and varying natural colours. The sheepskins have both excellent quality, and a wonderful wild appearance.
These sheepskin seat covers are chosen and treated carefully. They are gorgeous on a chair or bench, use them on outdoor furniture in the chillier summer or autumn evenings, to give some warmth.
They provide warmth, and no matter where you put them, they provide an authentic Nordic look.
These are now discontinued but organic Icelandic sheepskins are available.

Please note that these Icelandic organic sheepskins are entirely natural, and each sheepskin is unique, so may differ slightly to the photograph shown.
The sheep are born in Iceland's natural wilderness. They roam freely on the highlands of Iceland.
The sheepskins are a by-product of the meat industry, the animals have been bred for the meat and not the fur.
The tanning procedures follow EU regulations.
Care Instructions: The sheepskin should be shaken outdoors, or vacuumed regularly.
